Our tank gauging systems utilize a continuous liquid level monitoring system with
Pulsed Bubbler Technology
, all systems have the ability to monitor virtually any liquid, regardless of viscosity,
PH, corrosives, foam, or temperature. Tank gauging system parameters are displayed on custom designed HMI's throughout
the facility or can be integrated into an existing facility HMI System.
Ballast Control Systems provide complete control and monitoring of all facility tank gauging, ballast valves and ballast
pumps. Functions of the system would include ballasting, de-ballasting and maintaining proper trim and heel of the vessel.
Each system is custom designed as an independent system, with the ability to be interfaced with stability software in
real-time mode. Basing the design on an
open architecture
and utilizing
off-the-shelf
components from major manufactures, ensures the ease of future upgrades and worldwide availability
of replacement parts.
The PLC processors are arranged in a
redundant hot-backup
configuration connected via redundant fiber optic communications to remote I/O panels throughout
the facility. Custom main HMI touchscreen consoles for control and displaying of ballast information are located within
the ballast control room and another secondary location. Each remote IO panel contains a HMI touchscreen for local /
back-up operations.
Bulk / Liquid Control Systems provide real-time monitoring and control for the complete facility Bulk / Liquid material handling components. Bulk and Liquid Systems can be independent / stand-alone or integrated into an existing Vessel Management System or Drilling Control System. Utilizing state-of-the-art, off-the-shelf electronic components and customized HMI solutions, these systems will integrate with new electric and/or pneumatic operated valves or with existing facility valves and P-tanks / material tanks. Contact Jelec for more information on your Bulk / Liquid Control System requirements.
Jelec's anchor line monitoring system monitors the payout and speed in single- or multi-winch applications. Pairing with any running line tensiometer allows for continuous monitoring of tension in the anchor cables and provides alarm if dangerous tension levels are measured. Our system's remote interface panels are watertight so that installation near winch controls is viable. Line status of each winch is shown on the HMI alongside the calculated line tension. Additional details for active lines are viewed by simply clicking on the screen image of each individual winch.
Our Leg & Pinion Monitoring system provides real time data during jacking operations for lowering and positioning legs in various seabed conditions. Our system provides critical leg loading information that allows the operator to take proactive actions to prevent structural damage and jacking operations to be safely performed. Jelec's PLC-based/HMI control system provides accurate controls and flexible networking options to adapt to any new or retrofit installation. Features:
Our Helideck Monitoring System (HMS) analyzes helideck motion, vessel motion, and weather conditions to determine if conditions are safe (within safe operational limits).
The system displays real-time weather and vessel motion measurements in a user-friendly HMI. Landing conditions are evaluated and displayed clearly according to CAP and HCA standards. We offer a range of systems based on your requirements: From a simple single sensor solution for weather monitoring only, to a complete standards compliant solution with a fully-redundant sensor suite, weather reporting, and historian capabilities. We can customize your HMS to fit your exact needs.
Our DCS is based a modular concept, that allows us to combine control systems, monitoring and advanced instrumentation into a compact and powerful package. The modular concept allows for flexible system integration and configuration, while still satisfying all essential safety and control requirements. Typically, our DCS is used for drilling jack-ups, tender rigs and barges.
Alarm Management Systems provide complete overall facility system monitoring. Each system is custom designed as an independent
system, with the ability to communicate with a wide array of third party facility systems. Basing the design on an
open architecture
and utilizing
off-the-shelf
components from major manufactures, ensures the ease of future upgrades and worldwide availability
of replacement parts.
The PLC processors are arranged in a
redundant hot-backup
configuration connected via redundant fiber optic communications to remote I/O panels throughout
the facility. Custom main HMI touchscreen consoles for displaying of monitored systems are located within the ballast
control room and another secondary location.
Jelec Asset Management (JAM) is an asset information management system. It is used to organize and centralize information about your assets. With JAM you can manage your asset information from any network connected device (PC/iOS/Android)
The salient feature of the system is a 3D user interface. Via this interface you can explore and interact with detail 3D models of your assets. Click on parts of an asset model to inspect the associated fails and details.
Jelec now offers JAM with select products.
We provide a Version Management & Disaster Recovery (VMADR) system for your PLC software. Our VMADR system safely connects to your process network and monitors your software. Any time a change (authorized, unauthorized or accidental) in your software is detected, our system will automatically create a backup and catalog it. This enables disaster recovery, where you can easily rollback any changes. Furthermore, it enables simple examination of all changes.
Our VMADR system runs on a user specified schedule, and checks line by line for any changes to your software. When any discrepancy is detected, our system will notify multiple email recipients that there may be a problem. You may then examine the discrepancy, and rollback the changes to a previously approved version.
RAMS provides a safe and reliable method to access, monitor, and record remote systems. Connected networks are continually monitored to reduce disruptions and down-time. RAMS provides the necessary components for aggregating, monitoring, and archiving OPC data both onsite and offsite. Furthermore, Jelec offers a low bandwidth solution for replicating HMIs to offsite locations. We offer a range of options to meet your needs.
Fully integrates major equipment and control systems to a common long-term information storage and maintenance system. The system provides advanced troubleshooting tools to a technical personnel onboard and remotely via web management utilities. In summary, the system provides technicians the ability to quickly diagnose faults, impending failure and machine sequence problems resulting in less downtime.
